Leayah

Five years old
She has seen it all
Only friend is her teddy bear
He breaks her fall
She tries on her new dress
Her mom is taking her on a cruise
She has to look good
But this dress doesn't cover her new bruise

When will this stop
When will they see
She has seen it all
Unloved, pain, rejection, and deciet
Such a young girl
When will it be too late
Someone help her
It shouldn't be this way

She walks to her mom
And gives her the best smile
The mom smiles back
To her this cute child is vile
Another slap, another hit
The girl falls to the ground
Another kick, another push
The girl cries on the ground

When will this stop
When will they see
She has seen it all
Unloved, pain, rejection, and deciet
Such a young girl
When will it be too late
Someone help her
It shouldn't be this way

The stone in the ground
Flowers all around
Such a stormy day
We know its too late
Here lies Megan May
She didn't make it to her six birthday
No child should go through such harm
She died in her dress, her best friend in her arms
